We all belong to mankind!

The picture of the drowned Syrian boy is causing dismay all over the world. This image reaches our hearts and all of a sudden we understand, that the present refugee misery is concerning all of us.

The reason why we have so far managed to somehow ignore it, is the attitude that the people of Afghanistan, Syria, Eritrea and other countries do not really belong to us. We regarded them as strangers.

But like us they all belong to the great family of mankind. They are our brothers and sisters. This dead boy on the Mediterranean beach is our boy, a member of the people of this earth, of mankind.

We all belong to it. In the „circle of all“ we all have the same right of affiliation. By „we“ I mean all human beings, regardless of skin color, origin or religion.
Let‘s take the „principle of unity“ seriously at this point and assume that this principle is a profound truth: As humans we are a unit, a large family. With this basic attitude towards life we have the chance to solve the current refugee problem and also the other great human questions of present time.

Place yourself in the „circle of all“. To do so give up every devaluation and look at the refugees as brothers and sisters. Your necessary actions will arise from this inner attitude by itself.

Our life becomes richer through the others. The „circle of all“ always leads to win-win-situations. Everyone gives what they have (talents, ideas or money) into the middle of the circle for the benefit of all. In this way everybody will be enriched.

Recommended exercise:

Take all the time you need and ask yourself:
Where in this world I still consider another human being as a stranger, as someone who does not belong to us?
If you find somebody, take her or him into your „circle of all“. Doing so you are entering the circle yourself by giving up any devaluation and any exclusion.

Now stay in this consciousness throughout the day and observe what is happening within you.

Wir alle gehören dazu!

Das Foto des ertrunkenen syrischen Jungen hat weltweite Bestürzung ausgelöst. Dieses Bild erreicht unsere Herzen und mit einem Mal verstehen wir, daß das derzeitige Flüchtlingselend uns alle angeht.

Der Grund, warum es uns bisher gelungen ist wegzuschauen, ist die Einstellung, daß die Menschen aus Afghanistan, Syrien, Eritrea und anderen Ländern nicht wirklich zu uns gehören. Wir betrachteten sie als Fremde.

Doch sie alle gehören, wie wir, zur großen Familie der Menschheit. Sie sind unsere Brüder und Schwestern. Dieser tote Junge am Mittelmeerstrand ist unser Junge, Mitglied des Volkes dieser Erde, der Menschheit.

Wir gehören alle dazu. Im „circle of all“ haben wir alle dasselbe Recht auf Zugehörigkeit. Mit „wir“ meine ich alle Menschen, egal welcher Hautfarbe, welcher Herkunft und welcher Religion.
Nehmen wir das Prinzip der Einheit an dieser Stelle ernst und gehen davon aus, daß dieses Prinzip eine tiefe Wahrheit ist: Wir sind als Menschheit eine Einheit, eine große Familie. Mit dieser Grundeinstellung haben wir die Chance, das derzeitige Flüchtlingsproblem und auch die weiteren großen Menschheitsfragen der Gegenwart zu lösen.

Stellen Sie sich in den „circle of all“. Geben Sie dazu jede Abwertung auf und betrachten Sie die Flüchtlinge als Brüder und Schwester. Die notwendigen Aktionen ergeben sich aus dieser inneren Haltung von selbst.

Unser Leben wird durch die anderen reicher. Im circle of all ergibt sich stets eine Win-Win-Situation. Jeder gibt das, was er hat oder kann (Talente, Ideen, Geld), in die Mitte zum Wohle aller. Davon werden alle bereichert.

Nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, die sie brauchen, und stellen sich die Frage:
Wo betrachte ich noch einen Menschen in dieser Welt als Fremden, als einen, der nicht zu uns gehört?
Wenn Sie fündig werden, nehmen Sie diesen Menschen in Ihren „circle of all“ auf. Sie betreten damit selbst den Kreis, indem Sie jede Abwertung und jede Ausgrenzung aufgeben.

Gehen Sie nun einen Tag lang in diesem Bewußtsein durch die Welt und nehmen Sie wahr, was sich in Ihrem Inneren regt.
